Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)

We want you to feel confident about shopping with TradingCardSets.Com. If you don’t find the answer to your question here, please email us at tradingcardsetsofficial@outlook.com or use our on-site chat feature.

Q: Is TradingCardSets.Com legit? Are these cards real?

A: Absolutely! We only sell 100% authentic trading cards—no replicas, “artist” cards, or fakes. You can also visit our eBay store if you prefer to purchase on eBay. While our eBay prices are higher (to cover seller fees), many customers first buy from us there to establish trust, then return to our website for better deals.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Yes! We ship from Florida, USA, to anywhere we are legally allowed. Please review the customs information below for details on international fees and taxes.

Q: Do you have reviews available?

A: We receive hundreds of positive reviews each year from thousands of verified customers on our eBay store feedback profile and on Google.

Q: How are cards shipped?

A: All Pokémon sets are individually sleeved in plastic sleeves before being placed in a side-load binder and secured in a box with bubble wrap. Yu-Gi-Oh! sets are shipped in official Yu-Gi-Oh! brand binders sized to protect cards without plastic sleeves. Some sets may also use plastic top loaders, especially for holofoil cards. U.S. orders over $200 ship free via USPS Priority (2-day) unless you select a different option.

Q: How do Pre-Orders Work?

A: Pre-orders are guaranteed to be shipped within 30 days, or you can receive a full refund. Most orders are completed much faster (around 1–2 weeks). The 30-day window is primarily for rare issues (e.g., receiving a card in the wrong language or missing a card). Pre-orders (like regular sales) are not cancellable or refundable unless 30 days have passed without the order being marked as shipped.

Q: Are the exact cards pictured the ones I will receive?

A: Not always. We often use photos of sets we’ve sold in the past. Each vintage card is unique—many are over 20 years old! Feel free to ask for close-up or front/back photos before placing an order. We typically do not honor cancellations or refunds once your order is placed, so please reach out with questions beforehand.

Q: Why buy a complete set instead of building it myself?

A: Purchasing a full set from TradingCardSets.Com means you get every card at once—no hunting down 100+ singles or risking fakes, scams, or damaged cards from multiple sellers. It’s also often more cost-effective, especially for international collectors who only have to deal with shipping and customs once.

Q: What does MP-DMG mean?

A: “MP-DMG” stands for “Moderately Played to Damaged.” Any set labeled MP-DMG may include cards with heavier signs of wear or damage.

Q: What condition are these cards in? What quality control measures do you have?

A: Most modern sets are Near Mint. Vintage sets (20+ years old) range from Near Mint to Moderately Played. We reject or replace cards with major defects (dents, creases, etc.) unless the set is specifically marked “MP-DMG.” Expect some edgewear, scratches, or whitening on older cards, but no heavy damage unless stated otherwise.

Q: Why are these cards “so cheap” or “so expensive?”

A: We price competitively based on recent eBay sold listings. By selling on our own website, we save up to 25% in marketplace fees and can pass those savings on to you. We also buy in bulk from verified card shops and frequent card auctions, helping us offer high-quality sets at fair prices.

Q: Do you sell singles (individual cards)?

A: Not usually. If we have any single cards available, they’ll be listed on our eBay page.

Q: Are prices negotiable?

A: Yes! We’re often open to offers on most sets. We can also provide discount codes for multiple-set purchases. Email us at tradingcardsetsofficial@outlook.com or message us via our on-site chat to discuss a deal.

Q: What will these cards grade?

A: We don’t grade cards or estimate grading results; condition alone doesn’t guarantee a specific grade due to factors like centering. We’re happy to provide close-up photos for your own assessment.

Q: Are international orders subject to customs fees, duties, or taxes?

A: Yes. Your country may charge import taxes, customs duties, or other fees, which are not included in our prices or shipping costs. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility and are processed by your local government, not us. If a shipment is returned or seized by customs, we cannot offer a refund on product or shipping. Please understand and comply with your country’s regulations before ordering.

Q: Do you buy cards?

A: Yes! Please send timestamped photos and your asking price via email. Use the subject line “CARDS FOR SALE” and send it to tradingcardsetsofficial@outlook.com. We’ll reach out with an offer if we’re interested.

Q: Do you accept PayPal?

A: We currently don’t accept PayPal on our website due to extra fees and limited seller protections. If you’d like to pay via PayPal, please purchase through our eBay store.

Q: How long has TradingCardSets.Com been in business?

A: We established TradingCardSets.Com LLC in January 2021, but our team has been collecting cards for over 20 years. Rest assured, we combine passion and experience to bring you the best sets around.

We hope this FAQ helps! Don’t hesitate to reach out with any other questions. Thank you for choosing TradingCardSets.Com for your Pokémon (and other TCG) collection needs.
